We may be totally biased, but we love a good otherworldly and supernatural theme. As the Halloween season nears, it’s also a good time to try out Spectre Estate. The game takes after the age-old haunted house theme where you see an old and a bit decrepit mansion with its owners still residing inside.
Though they are no longer human, that doesn’t stop them from getting up to some very human mischief as they lure potential ghost hunters inside for a good chase. If you love the wacky, weird, and ghostly, you’ll love Spectre Estate.
What we see when we enter the atrium of the large mansion is the dimly lit glow of two windows. We can make out a spiralling staircase in the background with a 5×4 grid and 40 paylines.
Can the details match up to the graphics and visuals? Well, an RTP (return to player) of 96.12% is pretty decent. The max jackpot of 2,219x your initial bet is acceptable, but we’re the type that wants more, so 2,219 is pretty standard.
With 40 active paylines, which is double the standard 20, Spectre Estate does yield a good deal of chances at the big prize. The betting range starts at a low 0.10 but goes up to 100, which means the higher you bet, the bigger the cash wins.
Spectre Estate is high on the volatility scale, which is what will deter some beginners from trying it out, but it’s fun nonetheless, especially thanks to some cool features and even cooler graphics.
Saying there are only some cool features is an understatement. Spectre Estate is actually packed with so much going on that almost every spin has the potential to trigger something.

Above the grid, you will see 5 spaces that contain different bonuses. With each spin, the bonuses you get appear in these spaces at random with features such as 1 - 2x your bet, wild expansion, more wilds, 2 - 3x wild multipliers, and free spins! It’s almost as if Spectre Estate wants you to win!
If you get bonuses featuring the wilds, you are also awarded a respin, but during these respins, new features will not be activated. Then we have the free spins, which can compound if you’re lucky, and any features during these spins will remain active until you run out!
How do we feel about Spectre Estate? Since we are partial to games with this theme, we give it a pretty high rating of 8.5/10. More interesting mechanics could have been used, but we’re pretty satisfied with what we get.
No one can debate that the graphics and visuals are quite nice, and the overall concept is as well. So, why the 1.5 difference from a cool 10/10? Well, we will say that our wish for a higher payout comes into play. We like 5-digit payouts, but if you really think about it, with so many features and random bonuses that are guaranteed to land on every spin, Spectre Estate gives players more than they bargained for.

One other thing is the high volatility, but that is justified with the packed features of the game and high chances of wins.
